Spot Market Update: Jeera arrivals steady in Unjha mandi
The spot jeera price were trading in the range of Rs 11,500-13,000 per quintal (Rs 11,500-12,500 per quintal as on 21st February 2012) at Unjha Mandi. Best quality was trading in the range of Rs 14,000-15,000 per quintal (Rs 13,000-15,000 per quintal as on 21st February 2012). The total arrivals stood steady at 4,000 bags. While demand was seen for around 6,000 bags.
The NCDEX March contract moved in the range of Rs 13,750-13,965 and is currently trading higher at Rs 13,832 per quintal, up by Rs 28 or 0.20% per quintal.
