Despite witnessing 9 paise decline in yesterday’s trade, the spot rupee bounced back into the positive zone with a gain of 7 paise at 67.92, on the back of fresh selling in US dollar.
Right now, the domestic currency is trading at the higher point of the day at 67.86 - up 12 paise as against the US dollar.
Meanwhile, December rupee futures have gained 12 paise at 67.87.
Around 1,37,706 contracts have changed hands at the counter, while the open interest has increased 0.4 percent on the NSE.
Compared to the European-currency, the Indian rupee has also advanced 24 paise at 70.90 per euro.
