China Iron Ore Imports Jump 33% On Yearly Basis

Chinese Iron ore imports have jumped by 33% on a yearly basis to 64.98 million tons in February 2012. The release from General Administration of Customs showed that the Iron ore imports jumped from 48.64 million tons in February 2011. On a monthly basis, the imports of Iron ore and concentrates were up by 9.5% to 59.32 million tons in January 2012.
