        BJD holds ground in Odisha

        The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has managed to hold ground in Odisha.

        The Biju Janata Dal is in form as the party is leading 20 seat out of the 21 seats in the state of Odisha, while Bharatiya Janata Party has got only 1 seat.

        Among prominent candidates - Ladu Kishore Swain (BJD) is top listed in Odisha results status with as against Srilokanath Ratha (INC) by 186,844 votes for the Aska seat.

        Hemendra Chandra Singh (BJD) is leading with over 119,378 votes as against Harihar Karan (INC) for the Kandhamal seat.

        Kulamani Samal (BJD) is leading by 79,208 votes against his opponent Bibhu Prasad Tarai (INC) for the Jagatsinghpur seat.

        Sakuntala Laguri (BJD) is also tralling by 71,966 votes versus Ananta Nayak (BJP) for the Keonjhar seat.
